This Privacy Policy describes how the Taiwan Motorcycle License Quiz mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.
The App does not require an account and does not ask you to provide any personal information. All study progress (which questions you have answered and their results) is stored locally on your device in the browser's local storage and never transmitted to us.
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To deliver ads and measure their performance, Google AdMob and its partners may collect:
This data is handled by Google in accordance with Google's policies. For details see the Google Privacy Policy and Google's How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
On iOS the App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to ask for your permission before Google AdMob accesses the IDFA. If you deny tracking, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this decision at any time in Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Tracking.
If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to collect your consent for personalized advertising and to show you a consent form. You may withdraw or modify your consent at any time; if consent is not granted, only non-personalized ads will be shown.
The App offers an optional rewarded ad that, once viewed to completion, removes ads from the App for 24 hours on that device. The 24-hour expiration is stored locally on your device only.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California) to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Because the App itself does not collect personal information, these requests typically apply to data held by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for instructions on exercising these rights.
Local study progress remains on your device until you tap the "Reset" button inside the App or uninstall it. Data held by Google is retained according to Google's own policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
